I killed a bag of skittles and some cookies in about 10 minutes. Any good nutrition sense I have goes completely out of the window when I’m stressed. My new brand launches this week, finals are next week, and senior showcase comes right after that. The fact that I’ve been in this empty lab all weekend is a little unsettling. Maybe the rest of the designers are just THAT ahead of me. I need to step it up.

Let me start out by saying, I’m a democrat and for the most part, I consider myself pretty liberal. Obama’s 2012 Campaign however has been rubbing me the wrong way. Something about this more aggressive tactic to appeal to younger people seems gimmicky, manipulative and just beneath him. In 2008, I was attracted to his speeches, his ideals and maybe even the subtle targeted designs. But I mean… come on. It’s like they’re not even trying anymore. Instagramesque photos, hipster branding? This isn’t an urban outfitters ad. You’re better than that Obama Campaign.
