haha if you were never into shoes/streetwear culture this probably won’t make any sense buuut…
man. time flies. Camping out for hours to get whatever new release, checking X amount of blogs every couple hours, buying buying buying many pairs of shoes, WDYWTs, going to sneaker meet ups and Dunk Exchanges, marveling at other people’s collections, thinking about what you were gonna buy next at all times, trading this for that with someone, tracking down your ‘grails’, talking about shoes and clothes late into the night on ISS and Nike talk… feeling like all of that stuff was the world. Feeling cool. It was our lives. Flash forward to the present and all of that’s a distant memory. We we went to colleges, got real jobs, did other things, found new hobbies, pursued our hobbies even further, stopped checking the blogs as much, stopped having to campout cuz we had been in the game long enough and had connects, stopped buying as much, started buying other things, got cars, got tumblrs and iphones, focused on things that were important, traded our sb’s for clarks, traded our bright azz tee shirts for button ups… started dressing like adults. started acting like adults. started becoming adults. We grew up.
-Paper Face from ISS.
haha reblog if this makes any sense to you.
Destiny - Kinetic Typography
My first real motion graphics piece is complete! After effects is quickly becoming my favorite program in the suite.
Blake McGrath… Just your sheer existence is enough.
God blessed me in every aspect of my life this year. Heres to hoping 2012 is as incredible as 2011.
January: Snow! Finally got to experience what I’ve been waiting for since applying to WWU.

February: ESC Dinners for days. Ate good each weekend. BSU’s greens and BBQ chicken was my favorite.

March: Spring Break - Decided to fly myself down to SFO for a week. Sure it was rainy, but being down there and hanging with Sabneet and @Micato made me realize that there’s no other place for me after graduation.

April: KhSA Dinner - Having launched KhSA back at WWU with the officers, we had the ultimate goal of hosting a Cambodian New Years dinner in our 1st year. Months of meetings, stress, practices and preparation finally paid off on April 9.

May: Anniversary/Senior Design- Bernardo and I celebrated our 3 year Anniversary on May 9 at the Space Needle. Later that month, I was accepted into the New Media senior sequence, fulfilling my 2011 goal.

June: End of Junior Year/Moving Out/Seattle Summer - Although winter is my favorite season, I must admit I enjoy WWU much more in the Spring. June seemed like a blur of afternoons at the beach.

July: Bay Area (again) - This time around, my family went on a spontaneous road trip to my favorite place in the world. Five months later, I still have the tanlines from that week. Thats either super unhealthy, or a sign that my week was just THAT good. I’ll go with the latter option.

August: Work - Spent the remainder of my summer designing for Highline. Shoutoout to @henrytieu for being a model. Haha

September: Senior Year Starts/I turned 21

October: Halloweekend - It was costume change after costume change. My favorite was probably dressing up as @antsokswagg1

November: New Digs/Thanksgiving - Lived with @thavslc, @brokenbackbone, @antsokswagg1 and @vancouchie for a month. It had to be the best month I’ve had since starting college. Oh, and I ate turkey with my family.

December: Home For The Holidays - Christmas party turned into electric sliding. Oh! and I spent an evening giggling like a school girl at GBLIVE with @passionnate

Happy New Year Yall!
